Worthic can automatically refresh investment values for detailed portfolios when the holdings are linked to recognised instruments. The system tracks active investment holdings, pulls market price data for those instruments, stores the latest prices and price history, then updates each holding’s unit price, market value, valuation date, and portfolio roll-up. This is what keeps listed holdings, market-tracked instruments, and supported portfolio views current without manually editing every position.
The app also runs scheduled investment jobs on market weekdays: one refreshes tracked investment prices, and another records daily investment account value snapshots. Those snapshots help preserve a history of how account values changed over time, including conversion into the workspace reporting currency where needed.
There are sensible limits. Automatic updates depend on the holding being linked to an instrument that Worthic can price. If a holding is not linked, if the price source has no recent data, or if the asset is a value-based item such as a collectible, vehicle, household item, private asset, or manually valued investment, Worthic uses the latest recorded value instead. In those cases, the value changes when you update the asset or add a new valuation.
