The number of Worthic workspaces you can create depends on your account’s subscription and any workspace add-ons attached to it. Each plan includes an owner-workspace allowance. In the app, this is shown during plan selection as the number of “owner-level workspaces” included with that plan.
When you create a workspace, Worthic checks your account allowance by adding together the workspaces included in your active subscription, any additional workspace add-ons, and any manual account adjustments. It then compares that total with the number of active owner workspaces already allocated to your account. If you still have allowance available, you can create another workspace. If not, Worthic will prompt you to upgrade your plan or add an additional workspace.
You may also be a member of workspaces owned by other people. Those workspaces can appear in your console, but they are different from owner workspaces allocated to your own subscription allowance.
Practically, most users should use separate workspaces when they need a genuine separation of financial context, ownership, users, permissions, documents, reporting lines, or billing structure. Within one workspace, Worthic already supports multiple reporting lines, accounts, entities and scoped user access, so a new workspace is usually best reserved for a truly separate financial world.
