If you leave a workspace, your ordinary access to that workspace stops. You will no longer be able to view its accounts, documents, reports, transactions, reporting lines, settings, or workspace records unless you are added back with a valid role and scope. Leaving does not automatically delete the workspace’s data, because workspace records may belong to the workspace, the owner, or other users who still have access.
If a workspace is deleted, Worthic keeps the workspace data and documents for up to 14 days where needed for export, recovery, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or deletion reversal. After that period, production workspace data is scheduled for deletion or de-identification. This includes associated documents, extracted records, generated reports, workspace settings, invitations, memberships, integrations, and related customer-controlled content, subject to limited exceptions.
If your user account is deleted, Worthic disables ordinary account access and may retain the account for up to 14 days for recovery, support, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or reversal. After that, personal account data is deleted, de-identified, or detached from production systems unless retention is required. Where the deleted account was part of a shared workspace, Worthic may retain workspace data that belongs to the workspace or other users, while removing or de-identifying personal account data where appropriate.
Backups, logs, audit records, billing records, security records, legal holds, and compliance records may persist for limited periods under Worthic’s retention and operational schedules.
Please refer to the Worthic Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and Security Overview documents for the latest information on our data retention policies.
