Worthic supports document intake by email. Users send attachments from their registered Worthic email address to [email protected]. If the user belongs to more than one workspace, they should include the relevant workspace ID in the email subject so Worthic can route the attachments correctly.
Emailed documents can include common financial and admin file types such as PDFs, images, spreadsheets, CSV files, and supported ZIP attachments. Worthic checks that the sender is a registered user, confirms the destination address, resolves the correct workspace, skips duplicate files, and flags unsupported attachment types or routing issues where needed.
For users with the right workspace role, emailed documents are sent into the Document Inbox for AI-assisted processing, extraction, routing, and review. This is useful for receipts, invoices, bank statements, property documents, investment records, and other financial paperwork. Viewer-only users can still email documents, but those files are saved to User files and bypass analysis, routing, extraction, and transaction creation.
When documents are accepted, Worthic notifies the workspace so users can review the imported files. Setting up scoped email forwarding to Worthic for things like monthly statements can make it easy to organise your document trail.
