You can invite other people to a Worthic workspace when you want them to collaborate with you on the same financial information. Common use cases include inviting a spouse or family member, giving an accountant access to documents and transactions, working with a financial adviser, allowing a business partner or admin assistant to help maintain records or providing a client with dedicated workspace access.
To invite someone, go to the workspace settings on the workspace card in the account dashboard, and select Users and roles. Enter the person’s email address, choose their role, and set the permissions and scope you want them to have. User roles determine whether the user can write, edit or delete transactions and create and manage accounts. or only view and download data. Scope determines which specific reporting lines the user has access to. For more information on roles and scope, see the Knowledge base article users and roles.
The invitee will receive an invitation via email and can join using their own Worthic account. If they do not already have an account, they will be guided to create one before joining the workspace. They do not need their own subscription simply to join a workspace they have been invited to.
You can edit a user’s role, permissions, and scope at any time, or remove their access completely when collaboration ends.
Additional workspace users are not available on all plans, so your ability to invite collaborators may depend on your subscription.
