Worthic gives you two simple ways to organise documents: tags and collections.
Tags are labels you add to a document. They describe what the document is about, who it belongs to, or how you want to find it again. A supplier invoice might be tagged Business, Tax, and 2026. A property statement might be tagged with the property name, Mortgage, and Monthly statement. You can add more than one tag to the same document, so a document can appear in every place where it is useful.
Collections are saved views of your tagged documents. A collection brings together documents that match its name, so a Tax collection will show documents tagged Tax, and a Business collection will show documents tagged Business. The document itself stays exactly where it is. Collections simply give you another clean way to browse the same library.
This means you do not have to choose one perfect folder for each document. Add the tags that make sense, then use collections to see documents by topic, property, company, project, year, or any other working category.
You can create tags directly from the selected document pane. Once a tag exists, it can be used on other documents too. Creating a tag does not automatically create a collection, but if you later create a collection with the same name, Worthic will gather the matching documents for you.
Collections are fully under your control. You can start with an empty list, create the collections you need, rename them as your structure changes, and delete collections without deleting the documents or their tags.
