Worthic AI is a conversational assistant built into Worthic. Instead of navigating through every page or applying filters manually, you can ask a question in ordinary language and receive an answer based on the information you are permitted to access.
What the assistant can do
The assistant can retrieve and explain information from your workspace, including:
- account balances and account details;
- net worth summaries;
- income, expenses, cashflow and savings information;
- recent, uncategorized or pending-confirmation transactions;
- transactions matching a date, description, category, tag, account or reporting line;
- active targets and progress against them;
- documents and items awaiting review; and
- a general summary of the workspace.
For example, you can ask, “How much did I spend on travel last month?”, “Show transactions tagged as business,” or “Which items still need confirmation?” The assistant uses Worthic’s underlying records and calculation services to answer; it does not simply invent a total from the conversation.
You can also ask follow-up questions. After reviewing cashflow, for example, you might ask which categories contributed most or request the transactions behind a figure. Include a period, account, reporting line or category when you want a more specific result.
Requesting reports
Worthic AI can provide user-requested reports and exports. Ask for the report you need in natural language and specify the period, reporting line, account and preferred format where relevant.
Examples include:
- “Generate my monthly cashflow report as a PDF.”
- “Create a net worth report.”
- “Export transactions for this account to CSV.”
- “Generate the annual property profit and loss report.”
- “Create an occupancy report for this property.”
- “Export my investment positions and dividends.”
The assistant checks which registered Worthic reports are available to you, runs the appropriate report service and returns a clickable report or document reference in the chat. Reports are generated from Worthic’s underlying data and approved report templates. Report availability depends on your plan, role, workspace data and access permissions.
If your request is ambiguous, add the date range, property, account or reporting line. You can also ask, “What reports can you generate for me?”
Suggested prompts
When you open Worthic AI on the web, suggested prompts help you get started. Suggestions include:
- Account balances
- Net worth
- Monthly cashflow
- Transactions to confirm
- Uncategorized transactions
- Review inbox docs
- Targets review
- Summarize workspace
Select a prompt to use it immediately, or type your own question. These suggestions are starting points, not a limit on what you can ask.
Documents and review workflows
You can attach a supported document in the assistant or drop a file into the chat. Worthic can send it through the normal document-intake process, identify the likely document type and route, and present extracted information for review. Where an action would create pending transactions from a document, Worthic requires confirmation rather than committing the result silently.
Using Worthic AI on mobile
The AI assistant is also available in the Worthic mobile app under Ask Worthic. You can ask questions about your financial data from your phone, continue a conversation, attach a document or use the camera to photograph receipts, invoices and supporting records. Mobile requests use the same secured Worthic workspace context and respect the same role and permission boundaries. Some complex review and reporting workflows may still open or work best in the web app.
Access, accuracy and privacy
The assistant only sees workspaces, reporting lines, accounts, transactions and documents allowed by your role. Plan entitlements may also control access to AI, document processing and report generation.
