Custom integrations help connect Worthic to a bank, investment platform, property system, business tool or data source that is not already supported through a standard workflow.
Requests are available on all paid plans once the free trial period has ended. A typical integration does not incur an additional cost, provided it is technically feasible, appropriately scoped and useful within Worthic’s existing data and security model. Third-party provider fees, unusually complex development or ongoing specialist infrastructure may require separate agreement.
What can be integrated
Worthic can feasibly support several types of custom integration.
a. Custom import templates
If your bank, credit card provider, broker or other platform exports CSV or Excel files in an unfamiliar format, Worthic can create a reusable import template. The template can map dates, descriptions, amounts, currencies, balances, references and other fields into the correct Worthic account.
This is often the quickest solution when the external provider already offers reliable downloadable statements.
b. Statement and document imports
Worthic can adapt its document-processing workflow for recurring PDFs, spreadsheets, invoices, payment advices, investment statements, property records and similar documents. A custom workflow may identify the document type, extract relevant values, create review candidates and route the source document to the appropriate account or reporting line.
c. API-based connections
Where a provider offers a documented and accessible API, Worthic may be able to retrieve transactions, balances, holdings, valuations, bookings or other supported records automatically.
API access depends on the provider’s authentication method, permissions, availability, data quality and usage terms. Some providers restrict personal access, require business approval or charge their own API fees.
d. Scheduled file delivery
Integrations can also be built around files delivered on a schedule. Examples include emailed statements, secure exports, cloud-storage files or reports generated by another system. Worthic can collect the file, check for duplicates and send it through the appropriate import or document-review workflow.
e. Valuations and market data
A custom integration may retrieve property valuations, investment prices, exchange rates or other external values used by Worthic. The source must be sufficiently reliable and permit the intended use. Worthic records the available source and date so that users can understand how current a value is.
f. Business and property systems
Potential integrations include accounting exports, point-of-sale data, invoicing tools, rental or booking platforms, property-management systems, payroll exports and operational spreadsheets. Worthic will assess how the external records should map to accounts, reporting lines, categories, documents and review workflows.
g. Outbound and workflow integrations
Where appropriate, Worthic may also send approved data or events to another system through an API, webhook, scheduled export or generated report. Any outbound integration is limited by user permissions and the receiving system’s capabilities.
How to request an integration
Send Worthic Support ([email protected]) or Worthic Customer Care ([email protected]):
- the provider or system name;
- what information you want to import, synchronise or export;
- a sample file with sensitive information removed where possible;
- API documentation or a link to the provider’s developer portal;
- how often the integration should run; and
- the Worthic account or reporting line it should affect.
Assessment and delivery
Worthic will review the request for technical feasibility, security, provider restrictions, expected reliability and fit with the product. The preferred solution may be a custom template, document workflow, API connector or scheduled automation.
Not every provider can be integrated. A request may be declined or adjusted where access is prohibited, the source is unreliable, the security risk is unacceptable or the provider does not expose the required data.
New integrations are tested before production use. Imported information remains subject to duplicate checks, validation and user review. Custom integrations reduce repetitive work, but users should still verify important transactions, balances, valuations and reports against the original source.
