The Transactions workbench lives inside the Accounts module. It changes slightly depending on the selected account type. Transactional and cash-ledger accounts show transaction activity and review queues. Non-transactional value-tracking accounts use the same space for account events, linked documents, and future valuation activity rather than ordinary cash-ledger rows.
The workbench can be opened for one selected account, or in an all-accounts search mode. When search or advanced filters are active, Worthic searches across the available transaction universe instead of only the selected account.
Workbench tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Confirmed and visible transactions, filtered by the selected date range and search/filter controls |
| Review | Transactions and extracted candidates waiting for confirmation |
| Excluded | Imported candidates excluded as duplicates or discarded/rejected before confirmation |
| Documents | Import documents linked to the selected account, with the transactions/candidates extracted from the selected document |
For non-transactional accounts, the All tab becomes an account-events view. Review and Excluded are disabled because those queues are only active for transaction-ledger accounts. Documents remains available for linked supporting documents.
Statement imports and linked transactions
When a transaction statement is imported, Worthic creates transaction import candidates and links them to the source document. The Documents tab groups those candidates by import document. Selecting a document shows the transactions that were committed from it, plus any extracted rows that remain pending, were excluded as duplicates, or were rejected/discarded.
The document card shows the library location of the source document. Clicking on the library location (breadcrumb navigation) links to the document library with the document selected. Double-clicking on the document card opens or downloads the document, depending on document type.
The AI review panel also summarises the latest import: confirmed count, unconfirmed count, and excluded count. This gives a quick check of whether the import became clean ledger data or still needs human review.
Filters, search, and tags
The workbench supports quick text search plus advanced filters. Filters include account, reporting line, category, exact amount, tags, and source labels. Category options are scoped to the selected account and reporting-line context, so the category list stays relevant to the account type and entity type.
The Uncategorised toggle is available on date-filtered transaction views and limits the list to transactions without a structured category or with an uncategorised label. Transaction tags can be added or removed directly from a row, and the tag filter can then find transactions that contain selected tags.
Editing and review
Rows awaiting confirmation show a Confirmation pending pill. From the row, the user can confirm, edit, or discard the transaction. Extracted candidates in Review can also be confirmed, edited, or discarded. Excluded rows can be restored for review or permanently discarded from the excluded list.
Editing opens the transaction edit modal from the workbench, so users can correct date, amount, category, reporting line, or other transaction details before confirming. Confirmed rows behave as ordinary ledger records and can be opened from the transaction row where permitted.
Exporting transaction lists
The transactions workbench allows exporting of the current filtered transaction list, by selecting the CSV or PDF icon. CSV exports and downloads a csv document of the filtered transactions. PDF generates a Transaction Statement PDF report of the filtered transactions.
AI Review
The AI Review panel shows Worthic review insight cards where available. These include prompts such as pending confirmations, uncategorised backlog, large uncategorised transactions, duplicate exclusions, and account-health work. For balance reconciliation issues, the reconciliation dialogue can ask AI to review the evidence and return a summary, findings, recommended actions, and open questions.
Sync Health
The Sync Health card reports whether Worthic sees unresolved workspace-routing or sync issues. If unresolved imported documents could not be assigned to a workspace, it shows an amber routing issue. Otherwise, transactional accounts show that no import or bank-feed sync issues were detected; non-transactional asset accounts show that no asset price feed or valuation refresh issues were detected.
